This Living Dancer

This Living Dancer is a self-archiving and archival simulation installation and exercise that questions Seika Boye’s dancing life; archival practices and privacy; museum and gallery digital imaging of performance based work; and dance in the museum. 

2018-2019 AGO Artist in Residence: Seika will continue work on this project in 2026 with support from the SSHRC Partnership Grant Gatherings: Archival and Oral Histories of Performance.
